Several classes at Grenaa Gymnasium had some exciting meetings with Indian Priyanka last week.
In IB2 and 1u (which is this year's global class), Priyanka's point of departure was a talk on Indian national symbols. The students were very inquisitive and Priyanka ended up covering a large range of topics. With Priyanka also generously sharing her own life experiences and expectations, there was much food for thought.
In 3MU (high level music class) obviously music was the topic and the students were taught to sing the Indian national anthem - while respectfully standing - and were introduced to different kinds of Indian music.
On Thursday afternoon and evening, food for the stomach was on the programme as Priyanka was a guest cook in the boarding department. This produced both some very tasty dishes and a very positive atmosphere.
